Vinton County Driving Tour

Vinton County, which is located deep within Southeastern Ohio, is one of our state's nearly hidden treasures. Vinton County is known for its rugged hillsides, seemingly endless woodlands, and wealth of diverse wildlife. Once a center of industry, the land has reverted back to one of Ohio's few remaining true wilderness areas. Many areas for recreation can be found in the numerous public parks and forests within Vinton County boundaries.

One of the best ways to see all that Vinton County has to offer is to take a driving tour of the county. For your convenience, we designed a trip that breaks the county into three loops. We hope that you enjoy the scenery along the way. And while you are out and about, be sure to stop at some of our local shops to meet some friendly people and pick up souvenirs of your visit.
