'Shop Hop' Four times a year in Vinton County
Over a dozen unusual shops, studios and other attractions in northern Vinton County will salute the holidays with a combined "Shop Hop" four Saturdays this year. The next Shop Hops will be held on :

Hours are from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. Some will also be open the same hours on Friday and Sunday. Most locations can give you directions to nearby shops.
The Route 93 Corridor
Fiddlestix ~ A Celebration of Appalachia (St. Rt. 93, one half mile south of the St. Rt. 56 intersection) Here you will find four buildings chock full of quilts, candles, goodie mixes, cookbooks, primitive board games, country Christmas ornaments and more.
Lois' Summer Kitchen (24808 Creola-Hue Rd., Creola) Lois and Fred Weaver offer a lovely collection of antiques, gifts and collectibles. While there, you can watch for your perfect Christmas tree at Weaver's Christmas Tree Farm. While there, check out the new Pine Tree Quilt Barn.
Scenic Way Gifts and Art Glass Studio (63775 St Rt. 56, Creola) Find many items made in Vinton County and the surrounding area. Quilts, corn husk dolls, walking sticks, books, art glass and jewelry are just a few things you will find here.
Glen and Merline Maynard's Studio ( 66200 Bethel Rd., New Plymouth) Glen is an award-winning master woodcarver (one of his specialties is delightful Santa ornaments) and Merline is a renowned basket maker. You'll enjoy chatting with them and viewing their beautiful work.
Pumpkin Ridge Quilts and Repair (26940 Pumpkin Ridge Rd., New Plymouth) This full service shop sells quilting supplies and sewing machines and offers machine repair. It’s like Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory for quilters!!!
McArthur Shops
Vinton County Floral (105 N. Market St., McArthur) This lively shops offers a nice selection of colorful flowers and gift items
Remember When Antiques and More (118 W. Main St., McArthur) Here you'll take a walk down "memory lane" and see furniture and accessories like your mother or grandmother had. They also have a great selection of Civil War era items.
Zaleski
Zaleski Candle Works (107 Commercial Square, Zaleski) Longlasting handmade candles and tarts and a variety of home décor are found in this great little shop. Housed in the Anvil Quilt Barn.
Zaleski Creations (121 Oak St., Zaleski) Handmade primitives, candles, Christmas décor and much more are packed in this shop.
